§ 1Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sigurd Fencing website (the “Site”) or any related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and customers, including pre-order participants.
§ 2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or pre-order. Users under 18 may use the Site only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
§ 3Account & Login
Sigurd uses social login via Google, Apple, or Facebook. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
To delete your account, contact [email protected]. Reservations linked to a deleted account may be affected.
§ 4Pre-order & $1 Deposit
A $1 deposit reserves a slot in the first production batch of the Wireless Fencing Scoring Machine. The deposit will be credited as $100 toward your final order when you complete the full purchase.
Approximately 1–2 months before shipping, we will email you to confirm your shipping address and complete the final order. Your reservation remains valid until shipping starts, subject to these Terms.
§ 5Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in USD only. Payments are processed by Stripe; the Stripe privacy policy applies in addition to ours. Currency conversion charges and bank fees, if any, are paid by the user.
Final retail pricing will be announced before shipping. We reserve the right to update prices for new orders.
§ 6Refund Policy
You may request a refund of your $1 deposit within 14 days from the date of payment. Requests outside this window will be evaluated case by case but are not guaranteed.
Non-refundable cases include, but are not limited to:
- Requests submitted after the 14-day window;
- Orders for which the product has been shipped;
- Reservations identified as fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
§ 7Shipping Policy
First-batch shipments are expected to begin on June 20, 2026. Exact dispatch dates depend on production and customs clearance.

§ 8Product Use
Sigurd is designed for fencing training scenarios — daily practice, demos, and club expansion. It is not intended to replace official competition systems, and does not constitute certification for sanctioned tournaments.
Users are responsible for their own training safety, equipment inspection, and supervision of minors.
§ 9Intellectual Property
All brand assets, content, software, and product designs are owned by Sigurd Fencing or its licensors. No part may be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written permission.
§ 10User Conduct
You agree not to engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful behavior; not to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Site or services; and not to misrepresent your identity or organization.
§ 11Disclaimers & Liability
The Site and products are provided on an “AS-IS” and “AS-AVAILABLE” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent allowed, Sigurd Fencing’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
§ 12Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or reservation if we identify a material breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the pre-order program.
§ 13Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users where possible. Continued use of the Site following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
§ 14Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong SAR courts.
